Percy Possum Adventures Week 5 Term 2

Percy went home with me. I had to go to swimming class and Percy wanted to come with me. The next day we went to my cousin's house. We got lunch with her. Percy wanted to eat my lunch so I just gave him one piece. Percy met my cousin. KH

Insects on the loose

There is a bug explosion happening in Room 7. Look out because Percy Possum might eat them for his dinner!!

Last day for Mrs Pearce :-(

Congratulations to Mrs Pearce on a very sucessful practicum. Thank you for all the valuable contributions that you have made to the children's learning. We have loved having you in Room 7...

...but luckily for us, it is not goodbye. Mrs Pearce is coming back in Term 3 to work with us on an inquiry unit.

Homework Insect Research

The children in Room 7 have found out lots of interesting facts about insects.

Caterpillars live in deserts, rain forests and mountains. JM
Ladybirds are omnivores. This means they eat meat and plants. OE
Very young grasshoppers dont have wings. CB
Dragonflies only live up to 30 days. LG
Cochroaches eat food scraps. MCl
Trap Door Spiders belong to the arachnid family. MR
Caterpillars have 13 body segments. NH
Stick insects change their colours to match their habitat. RP

Percy Possum's Adventures Week 4

Percy came to my house. Me and Percy played on the computer. We played Toxic 1 and 2. We went on the computer again. Percy played a game and he completed it. ZZZZZZZZ it's bedtime. Percy made clay items. Then we played popping games. After popping games we made an angry bird game called Angry birds Clay. Percy made Violet Bird. On Sunday Percy went to golf with me. We downloaded Angry birds Seasons. We completed electric man 2. Zzzzzzzzzzz it's bed time. Thank you Mrs Macro for letting me have Percy!

Room 7 Assembly Week 2, Term 2

Well done everyone for a super turn at taking assembly. The children all practised their parts and Jolly Olly was great. I was so impressed with the way the children behaved on stage...they made their teacher very proud :-)

Percy Possum Adventures Week 2 Term 2

Percy and I went to a Disco party. The party was for Amber's 3rd birthday. Amber is Nathan's sister. The snacks were delicious! Percy stole a calamari ring while I wasn't looking. Percy was a little shy at first. Then he saw everyone having so much fun he decided to join in. My mum got 3 photos of Percy dancing. He had a glowing ring on his tail. It would be easier for him to dance if Percy's hands weren't sewn together.  Percy and I got a prize from DJ Rocks for doing fantastic dancing. I learnt a new dance move called the jump shuffle. Our prize was a little bag of lollies and raisins. I ate the lollies and gave the raisins to Ruby my dog. My sister Emma won bubbles. Thank you Mrs. Macro for letting me have Percy for the weekend. We had awesome fun together! Percy helped to make me feel better on Friday when I wasn't feeling very well.  LB
