Transport Day

What a great way to conclude our Inquiry unit on transport. We rotated around lots of activities and had lots of fun. They included Thomas train track, small wheels, big wheels, paper planes, the Cars movie and some Lightning McQueen art. Now we are ready for a holiday. Have a lovely rest everyone and see you next term.

We have been practising our earthquake drill ready for the BIG SHAKEOUT that will be held all over New Zealand tomorrow at 9.26am. We know that when Mrs Macro calls out DROP that we all need to get ourselves safely under the nearest table, cover our heads and hold onto the table leg....
We need to know how to be safe in an emergency.

Maths Week

Maths week has got off to a wonderful, mathematical start with a visit from the Maths Roadshow. The children move around a variety of different maths activies and need to use their problem solving skills to calculate different scenarios. It is a fun way to use all our mathematical expertise.

Another Fantastic Father's Day Breakfast at BDS

 On Friday we had our celebration of fathers...and as you can see lots of Dads turned up for their bacon sammy, hot coffee and a chance to have a look around the classroom. We love our Dads!
